Learn which CRMs offer the best mobile apps + overall experience

So you want a CRM with a strong mobile app? 📱

With 750+ CRMs out there to try, let us save you some time by giving you a quick overview of the best mobile CRMs out there.

These aren’t just good on mobile. They’re good CRMs overall AND have a strong, or at least above average, mobile experience.

How should you define what the best mobile CRM is for you?

There are a three questions to consider when choosing a great mobile CRM:

  1. Is it a good CRM?
  2. Does it have a great mobile app?
  3. Is the CRM built for your use case?

The ranking below gives you a combined answer to questions 1 and 2, as the CRMs are ranked by the average of the review scores (given by real users) on

  1. G2.com, the leading business software review platform (= good CRM)
  2. Google Play Store & Apple App Store, the leading mobile app marketplaces (= great mobile app)

We simply added up the scores on G2, Google Play Store and Apple App Store… and divided the result by 3 to get to the total score. That way you get a CRM that performs on all fronts. 🥇

Answering the third question is a little harder, but let us give you a few simple pointers to pick the best mobile CRM for your use case:

  • Are you a small or medium-sized business (SMB) actively selling B2B? Salesflare will be best for you.
  • Are you an SMB who sells to consumers (B2C)? Pipedrive or Freshworks CRM will be a better fit.
  • Are you an SMB but more focused on marketing automation? Have a look at HubSpot and ActiveCampaign.
  • You want something that can do literally everything and is not built for anything in particular? Sounds like Zoho CRM Plus.
  • Are you working for a company with 200+ employees? You’ll probably need an enterprise CRM like Salesforce.

Let’s dig into the details 👇

1. Salesflare [9.4/10] 🏆

There’s a reason why Salesflare scores so highly among mobile CRM apps: unlike other CRMs, Salesflare was built for mobile first.

Salesflare (founded in 2014) is used by thousands of small and medium-sized businesses who sell to other businesses (incl. agencies, consultancies, development houses, tech companies, …). It’s top ranked across review platforms and is the #1 CRM on Product Hunt, the leading community for product enthusiasts.

Salesflare doesn’t offer a reduced set of its features in the mobile app. You’re getting 100% of its features on your phone as well. That means you’re not dependent on having your laptop around at all times. You can manage your customers from anywhere.

What’s absolutely unique about Salesflare as well is that it’s not dependent on your team’s data input. Instead it tracks everything about your customers and all the interactions you’re having automatically. You can rely on your CRM, instead of your CRM relying on you.

That’s one of the reasons why Salesflare is currently ranked #2 easiest-to-use and #1 easiest-to-implement CRM in the world on leading review platforms like G2.

Without further ado, here’s a breakdown of how Salesflare stacks up:

G2 review scoring

  • Ease of Use: 9.5
  • Ease of Setup: 9.5

Some of the awards Salesflare has received for its ease of use, ease of setup, support, and return on investment.

2. HubSpot CRM & Sales Hub [9.0/10]

HubSpot is a marketing automation platform turned everything platform. It was founded in 2005 to make marketing automation easier.

Nowadays, HubSpot’s main selling point is offering an all-in-one solution, including marketing, sales, service and operations. If you don’t like using different apps and integrating them (using tools like Zapier and native integrations), then HubSpot might be what you’re looking for.

To get CRM functionality that is comparable to what you’re getting with the other CRMs in this ranking, you need to get two HubSpot products: its CRM and its Sales Hub.

Its entry pricing is quite steep and it rises very quickly from there if you need the more powerful functionality, more users, or more contacts in the CRM.

In terms of its mobile app, HubSpot does a fair job. The app is nicely designed, but the live notifications are not too handy and it offers a reduced feature set. Still, reviews on the app stores are relatively positive, which earns HubSpot second place in this mobile CRM ranking.

G2 review scoring

  • Ease of Use: 8.6
  • Ease of Setup: 8.3
  • Meets Requirements: 8.5
  • Quality of Support: 8.5
  • Ease of Doing Business With: 8.7
  • Ease of Admin: 8.6

Final result

  • Google Play Store review score: 4.6/5 → 9.2/10
  • Apple App Store review score: 4.7/5 → 9.4/10
  • Average G2 review score: 8.5/10
  • FINAL SCORE: 9.0/10

Price of the Pro plan

  • $90/user/month (billed annually - minimum 5 users)
  • $100/user/month (billed monthly - minimum 5 users)

3. ActiveCampaign [8.8/10]

ActiveCampaign is an email marketing/automation platform, founded in 2003. It now brands itself as a customer experience automation (CXA) platform, to cover its expanding range of functionality.

ActiveCampaign added a CRM module to its offering in 2014, as a sales focused add-on to the rest of the platform. This integration between email automation and CRM is probably its main forte.

Setting up ActiveCampaign is not a light task and its software may become overwhelming, while the CRM aspect itself on the other hand will not be as feature rich compared to the other CRMs in this list.

Compared to its heavy desktop experience however, ActiveCampaign’s mobile app feels much lighter and more pleasant to work with, which is probably also why it got fair review ratings on the app stores. The flip side of this light experience is that the software unfortunately only offers a reduced feature set on the phone.

If automating complex email flows is what you’re looking for and tracking prospects is secondary for you, then ActiveCampaign may be what you’re looking for. If not, just keep reading!

  • Apple App Store review score: 4.5/5 → 9.0/10
  • Average G2 review score: 8.9/10
  • FINAL SCORE: 8.8/10

Price of the Pro plan

  • $149/month (only billed annually)

4. Salesforce Sales Cloud [8.5/10]

Salesforce is the biggest CRM company in the world, controlling about 20% of the market. Its stock ticker is even “CRM”, so we definitely can’t compile a list of CRMs without mentioning it.

While, in the first few years of its existence, Salesforce was focused on small businesses, it has since shifted its focus on enterprises. This also immediately explains why its forte is extreme customizability (provided you pay a team of consultants to do that) and why it has positioned itself to be the one software vendor that offers a solution to all your business needs.

Salesforce does still offer a solution to small businesses today, called Salesforce Essentials, a limited version of the full platform. Compared to other CRMs in this list however, it lacks in user friendliness and is not really customized for sales teams.

If extreme customizability is your thing, or you’re working at a corporate, Salesforce might still be the best choice for you. But before signing any contract, read this guide on the small print first.

Even though Salesforce couldn’t bring all its functionality to its mobile app, it still packs an enormous amount of features on the phone, so be prepared for quite the journey if you want to explore it all.

G2 review scoring

  • Ease of Use: 8.1
  • Ease of Setup: 7.5
  • Meets Requirements: 8.8
  • Quality of Support: 8.2
  • Ease of Doing Business With: 8.3
  • Ease of Admin: 8.0

Final result

  • Google Play Store review score: 4.2/5 → 8.4/10
  • Apple App Store review score: 4.5/5 → 9.0/10
  • Average G2 review score: 8.2/10
  • FINAL SCORE: 8.5/10

Price of the Pro plan

  • $75/user/month (only billed annually)

5. Freshworks CRM [8.5/10]

Freshworks CRM (formerly known as Freshsales) is a sales CRM from Freshworks, the company behind / initially called Freshdesk. Freshworks was founded in 2010 to provide a better, cheaper solution for customer service teams.

Freshworks’ main selling point is its feature depth. It has also managed to offer this range of functionality through an easier to use interface than its competitor/predecessor from the same city, Zoho.

Its mobile app feels a bit more difficult to use than the apps of better performing CRMs in this ranking and, accordingly, its Google Play Store review score is the second lowest in this ranking. This is however compensated by its relatively higher G2 score, earning Freshworks CRM a fifth place in this ranking.

G2 review scoring

  • Ease of Use: 9.1
  • Ease of Setup: 8.9
  • Meets Requirements: 8.9
  • Quality of Support: 9.0
  • Ease of Doing Business With: 9.1
  • Ease of Admin: 9.0

Final result

  • Google Play Store review score: 3.8/5 → 7.6/10
  • Apple App Store review score: 4.4/5 → 8.8/10
  • Average G2 review score: 9.0/10
  • FINAL SCORE: 8.5/10

Price of the Pro plan

  • $39/user/month (billed annually)
  • $47/user/month (billed monthly)

6. Zoho CRM Plus [8.3/10]

Zoho is a true household name in the CRM industry, so we couldn’t omit them from this ranking.

Zoho launched its small business CRM product in 2005 and has historically been positioning itself as a cheaper alternative to Salesforce. That is immediately its main selling point.

If you’re looking for a CRM solution, Zoho has many tiers (and products even: Zoho CRM, Zoho CRM Plus, Zoho One, …). For a fair comparison with other CRMs in this ranking, we’re ranking its top CRM product: Zoho CRM Plus.

The mobile CRM app experience is adequate, but it’s fairly complex to navigate. If you’re often on a plane or working from a hospital however, it has one big pro: it can be used to access and add records even when you’re offline.

G2 review scoring

  • Ease of Use: 8.1
  • Ease of Setup: 7.6
  • Meets Requirements: 8.2
  • Quality of Support: 7.4
  • Ease of Doing Business With: 7.9
  • Ease of Admin: 7.8

Final result

  • Google Play Store review score: 4.2/5 → 8.4/10
  • Apple App Store review score: 4.4/5 → 8.8/10
  • Average G2 review score: 7.8/10
  • FINAL SCORE: 8.3/10

Price of the Pro plan

  • $57/user/month (billed annually)
  • $69/user/month (billed monthly)

7. Pipedrive [7.6/10]

Pipedrive is an easy-to-use and easy-to-setup sales CRM for small businesses, and is therefore compared to Salesflare very often.

It was founded in 2011 in Estonia as a counterreaction to enterprise CRMs like Salesforce, which are built more for enterprise needs than they are for sales teams. Pipedrive set out to change that.

Pipedrive’s power is its simple and well considered user experience, especially when it comes to its older functionality. It makes data input and keeping track of activities easier, albeit still quite manual.

Despite the simplicity of its basic desktop experience, the mobile experience is a little less pleasant to work with. This is probably why users give its mobile app the lowest review scores of all CRMs in this mobile CRM ranking, which in turn causes it to land in the overall last place as well.

G2 review scoring

  • Ease of Use: 8.9
  • Ease of Setup: 8.7
  • Meets Requirements: 8.4
  • Quality of Support: 8.4
  • Ease of Doing Business With: 8.7
  • Ease of Admin: 8.6

Final result

  • Google Play Store review score: 4.0/5 → 8.0/10
  • Apple App Store review score: 3.8/5 → 7.6/10
  • Average G2 review score: 8.6/10
  • FINAL SCORE: 8.1/10

Price of the Pro plan

  • $49.90/user/month (billed annually)
  • $59/user/month (billed monthly)
